Half-Life 2: Rumor: Remastered Collection discovered

On Steam, a Half-Life 2 (from 34.99 € * at Buy) appears: Remastered Collection appear. The Remastered Collection first appears in the Steam database.

The revised collection is realized by the developer (Filip Victor), which was already responsible for the modification "Half-Life 2 Update", which is also offered on Steam. Although the collection is not officially of Valve Software, the Remastered Collection seems to be created with the Valve's consent, this has confirmed (usually well-informed) Tyler McVicker via Twitter. Such a collaboration with fans is not unusual for Valve Software, because with Black Mesa already a remake of Half-Life with the blessing of Valve appeared.

More is not known about the Half-Life 2: Remastered Collection, which will probably include revised versions of Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode 1 and Half Life 2: Episode 2. The modification "Half-Life 2 Update" (2015) ensured a complete revision of the lighting system of the game, new fog and particle effects and many bugfixes.
