Formula 1: Other changes in the rules? More sprint races in conversation

The Formula 1 Commission met April 26, 2022 in London and discussed possible changes in the rules. Among other things, more sprint races, smaller cars and helmet cameras were proposed. The commission, led by FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulvam, proposes six sprint races per season. At the moment there are only three sessions over 100 kilometers per year, in which the fastest driver gets eight points for the World Cup ranking and can start all over in the Grand Prix. This is then continued in a descending form. This change proposal is supported by the teams and Formula 1. However, the consent of the World Association FIA is still missing for implementation. The effects on the activities on the stick and the staff are to be assessed here. There was a similar plan the previous year.
