Steam returns policy is usually quite simple: as long as you have played a game for less than two hours, you can return it and get a full refund of your money. However, there are users who abuse this function and the most recent case has forced an Indian developer to withdraw from the industry.
A couple of months ago, Emika Games published his most recent game, Summer of 58, on the platform of Valve . It is a title of terror, which was developed by a single person and whose duration is less than two hours. Well, because of this, there are people who barely finish the game and already returns it to Steam , thus obtaining a refund and leaving the developer without profits.
Before this unfortunate situation, the person behind Emika Games announced that he will be withdrawing from the industry for an indefinite time in what organizes his ideas.
Friends! Thanks for your support! Abandon the development of videogames indefinitely to organize my ideas. The fact is that my Summer of 58 game does not reach the two hours of play according to Steam standards, and in this sense, there are a large number of returns from the game yet with positive reviews and I have not gained any money to create a new draft.

Emika Games I was already working in another game called from day to day, that as it is mentioned, you can not go out in the future. Some users argue that there should be some kind of warning for games with extremely short duration, but we do not think that has really been the problem here.
