The developer of Apex Legends revealed discarded plans for Horizons Gravity Lift

If you are a horizon captain in APEX legends, you know how useful your tactical ability - Gravity Lift - can be. This ability turns the flow of gravity and raises players 30 meters across the ground and hurls them into the air - which can be useful in both offensive and defensive situations. In his current form, Gravity Lift expresses the players only up - but that was not always the case. The senior software developer of Apex Legends, Chr Chr Winder has revealed that RPAWN has previously tried to make Gravity Lift function in all directions.

In a reddit contribution to legend buffs and Nerfs, Mufasakong 'proposes a horizon buff that would allow players to "attach [Gravity Lift] on every surface", which the players in the direction would push in which shows the tactic.

In response to this, "RV-GamePlayCris" - which we have identified as a Winder - that RPAWN has actually tried this while he has developed Horizon and her kit. "We tried that! It was crazy!
