After a total of 180 kilometers and 3,600 meters from Aigle to Zinal, two teammates competed for sprint on the home stretch. Sergio Higuita prevailed against Aleksander Vlasov, grabbed the day's victory and gave Bora Hansgrohe a double success.

Simon Geschke was there in the first group and climbed ninth in the overall ranking. Rohan Dennis (Team Jumbo-Visma) lost only three seconds and thus remains overall. Geschke is 42 seconds behind the Australian.
The decision is made in a heavy mountain time trial on Sunday. Dennis and Co. have to overcome almost 900 meters on the 15.8 kilometers before the winner of the Tour de Romandie is determined.
